About the event
This year we have been fortunate enough to have David Christison agree to be our guest speaker.
David is well known as a former news director and sports presenter for the Seven Network Australia. He also has broad experience with crisis management and has acted as a media counsellor and spokesman for domestic and international companies and sporting organizations in emergency matters, including reputation management in criminal cases, first defence in industrial relations matters and representing the International Hockey Federation (FIH) in the aftermath of the Madrid terrorist bombings during an Olympic qualifying event in 2004.
David commentated men's and women's hockey for the Seven Network at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, for Foxtel, the Nine Network and the BBC at the London 2012 Olympic Games, and for the Seven Network at the previous five Olympic Games.
