Malcolm's Enduring Lacrosse Contributions
Malcolm's lacrosse journey began in 1962 with the Perth Lacrosse Club, moving
to Nollamara in 1968, where he proudly played in three B Grade premierships.

Club Founder & Leader
Transitioning to administration, Malcolm founded the Wanneroo Districts Lacrosse Club, becoming its inaugural President in 1977. His dedication ensured the club's success, earning him Wanneroo's first Life Membership in 1992.

State, National, & International Impact
Malcolm's leadership extended to the Western Australian Lacrosse Association (President, 1982-1985; Life Member, 1985) and the Australian Lacrosse Council (ALC). Starting in 1986, he held various directorships and served as ALC President/Board Chair (1991-1994), earning an ALC Certificate of Merit (1982) and Fellow (Life Member) status in 2001. He also chaired the International Lacrosse Federation's Constitution and Rules Committee (2004-2005).

"Lacrosse Gazette" & Broader Influence
Malcolm edited the "Lacrosse Gazette" for 20 years, connecting association members. His extensive contributions included directing the Australian Lacrosse Foundation, organizing national competitions and World Championship hosting committees, and serving as Executive Director for the Australian Men's Team at World Championships. In 1998, he received the May Campbell Medal for Service to Sport, recognizing his significant, tireless, and skillful dedication to lacrosse at all levels from 1977-2012.
